Machine learning, robotics, and autonomous systems are already helping to revolutionize health systems. How can we make sure that they are always revolutionizing for the good of the world?

This research area includes novel assurance approaches and capabilities for new and existing autonomous systems found in hospitals, emergency care centers, remote health care and telemedicine, surgical systems, next-generation precision medicine, and advanced biological and physiological sensors, as well as the necessary physical and virtual infrastructure required to support those systems. JHU is home to the world’s premier medical school and has been a pioneer in medical education for the last century; now we are looking to secure the new world of autonomous health systems.
