Laura has been with Hopkins since 1996 starting first in the Purchasing department. She then moved to WSE with the Center for Language and Speech Processing before joining the CS department in 2006. She is responsible for the oversight of administrative and financial activities of the department , The Malone Center for Engineering in Healthcare and Engineering, The Information Security Institute, and The Institute for Assured Autonomy. Her top priority is ensuring that anyone who visits the office gets the information that they are seeking or a resolution to questions or concerns they may have. Outside of the office, Laura enjoys reading, going to movies, learning about Ayurveda, and being outside.
