Knowledge Sharing Event Recording

Colleagues of the Johns Hopkins University community are invited to join the Johns Hopkins Institute for Assured Autonomy (IAA)’s 2021 Knowledge Sharing Event, a virtual event taking place on Friday, October 15^th at 10 a.m. This is an opportunity to learn more about the research we are currently performing and to connect with research teams and IAA leadership.

As part of the IAA Knowledge Sharing Event, we will be doing a series of 3-minute/1-slide lightning talks highlighting research areas and ideas related to assured autonomy. We invite the JHU Research Community to propose lightning talks by submitting a single slide and 1 paragraph description by Friday, October 8, 2021. We encourage proposals by the entire Research Community, including faculty, technical staff, post-docs, and graduate students.

Agenda:

• 10:00 am: Introduction to the IAA with the JHU Research Community
• 10:30 am: The 10 IAA Seed Research Projects – Research to make autonomous systems:
  • Safe and Reliable
  • Secure and Resilient to Attack
  • Predictable and Integrate Seamlessly into Complex Ecosystems

• 12:30 pm: Lightning Talks from the JHU Research Community
• 1:30 pm: Flagship Projects and How to Get Involved
• 2:00 pm: Informal Zoom Room Discussions on Flagship Domain Areas
